DSR466sd Room Controller Communication Driver

 

DSR466sd Room Controller communication driver is the driver to communicate with gas boiler controller of Daesung Celtics Co., Ltd. in Korea.

 

1. Read settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of  DSR466sd Room Controller communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(4800), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to setting of controller.

DSR466sd controller's baud rate, parity bits, data bits and stop bits are fixed to 4800, 0, 8, 1.

 

DSR466sd Room Controller communication driver¡¯s read schedule

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) Station – Controller station number = 1 ~ 32.

2) Read Command – Command = fixed to READ.

3) Read Start Address Don't care.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – fixed to 1. ( read 6 byte data, Refer to <Table 1> )

<Table 1> is data saving address and contents of READ command.

<Table 2> is error code and contents of Error status.

If you click the icon  in protocol option part, you can see the dialogue box such as <Figure 2>. you can also set read schedule by using this part.

   You can set read schedule by using , , button and listbox of <Figure 2>.

When you click Add button or Edit button in dialogue box of <Figure 2>, dialogue box of <Figure 3> is shown.

  

2. Writing settings

You can write the setting value by using write settings.

 

Bit Write

Bit write and word write have the same setting parameters except output value( 0 or 1 ).

 

Word Write

Word write setting parameters are as follows:

1)  PORT                   Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2)  STATION             Controller station number = 1 ~ 32.

3)  ADDRESS           Don't care.

4)  Extra1                   Write command = POWER, MODE, WATER, TEMP. ( Refer to <Table 3> )

5)  Extra2                   Don't care.

 

<Table 3> is range of output value and contens of write commands.

The setting parameter shown above is an example of operation mode change of 1 station number DSR466sd controller.

The setting parameter shown above is an example of Temperature setting of boiler's hot water. (station number = 1 )

 

3. Connection of communication cable and main power line

Connection of communication cable and main power line are as follows.

 

Connection of RS-422 communication cable

Please connect D+, D- connectot of DSR466sd controller and +, - connector of computer such as below diagram.

 Connection of main power line

Please connect 15 ~ 24 V DC main power to main power input connector.

Note) The setting method of controller(boiler) station(ID) number

1) When the power state, press 'Heating' + 'Tiem Set' button about 3 seconds. Then enter setting mode.

2) Press 'Heating' button, then will be blink 'L9' code at the screen.

3) Please set controller station number( 1 ~ 32 ) by using 'Up', 'Down' button.

4) Press 'Power' button.
